The Nokia 5800's camera software starts up nice and quick, simply by pressing the camera shutter button when in standby mode. The camera give the option of adding geo-tags to the jpegs. The picture quality is generally pretty good for a phone, although some pictures have over-saturated colours and are sharpened too much. Settings include manual white balance, sequence mode, scene modes, manual exposure control, contrast and sharpness settings.
